Madrasa-Tul-Falaah, located in Kibra, is a renowned Islamic institution dedicated to oriental and Islamic studies. Established under the Societies Act of Kenya, it has been actively operating and undertaking various projects in the region. One of its notable initiatives is the Madrasa-Tul-Falaah, a learning center that attracts children from all around Kibra. Additionally, it serves as a significant historical and cultural hub for the Nubian and Muslim communities in Kibra.

The primary objective behind the establishment of this institution was to provide a local center for Islamic religious knowledge. Over time, Madrasa-Tul-Falaah has continuously met the educational needs of the community, currently serving around 400 students who attend the institution for Islamic studies.

In recent years, the institution has taken proactive measures to enhance and promote Islamic education in Kibra. It has forged partnerships with well-established institutions such as Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. Through this collaboration, some of its students have had the opportunity to pursue further Islamic studies in Egypt.

Numerous individuals from the local community, including respected scholars and accomplished individuals from the slums of Kibra, have benefited from the knowledge imparted by Madrasa-Tul-Falaah. The institution has played a significant role in shaping the moral values of both the youth and the elderly in the community, drawing upon widely accepted Islamic moral standards.

Since its inception, Madrasa-Tul-Falaah has served as an inspirational pillar for the proliferation of Islamic teachings within and beyond the community. It continues to be a historical landmark and holds great significance for the Nubian community.
